Job Description


Responsibilities

The role of the Clinical Nutritionist is to coordinate and administer a comprehensive education program for patients and their families, while functioning as part of a multi disciplinary team utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages. The Clinical Nutritionist is responsible for delivering direct education, coaching and guidance to all program participants using the Trans theoretical Model of Health Behavior Change and motivational interviewing skills. This individual must be willing to work a variable schedule including some weekends and evenings, and be able to travel throughout the community and to the different Norton Healthcare campuses.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Three years in specialty area
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Dietitian (KY)
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (National)

Desired:

  • Master Degree
