Manager, Business Development & Lead Enablement - Marketing - BDR

The Manager, Business Development & Lead Enablement will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve sales targets, drive pipeline growth, and support revenue goals. This role requires strong people management, performance coaching, CRM discipline, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate is a motivated and adaptable leader with experience in sales or BDR operations, a passion for developing talent, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Manager, Business Development & Lead Enablement, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of BDRs to consistently achieve and exceed their monthly and annual targets

  • Set clear expectations for daily activity metrics, holding your team accountable for strong performance

  • Actively engage in the coaching process, providing regular feedback and development opportunities for team members

  • Oversee and ensure accurate, timely logging of all activities and customer contacts in Salesforce

  • Foster and champion the Thomson Reuters culture and values within your team

  • Drive a culture of continuous learning, encouraging Agile Learners who can rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge

  • Support your team in managing performance under pressure, helping them build resilience and tenacity in the face of adversity

  • Lead by example in embracing change, creativity, and innovation—partnering with sales and marketing to drive revenue

  • Analyze team performance metrics and pipeline data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing, to maximize the team’s effectiveness and contribution to revenue goals

  • Manage marketing hand offs  for the AEM BDR team, including sequence design, messaging, and maintaining best practice following the global standards

  • Coordinate lead list loads for the AEM BDR team, working with Marketing and the AEM BDR Manager to ensure lists are properly loaded into in our CRM for timely lead follow up

  • Collaborate with the AEM BDR Manager on follow up sequence performance reviews, identifying messaging or targeting adjustments to improve connect and conversion rates across the region

About You

You're a fit for the role of Manager, Business Development & Lead Enablement if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proven experience managing and developing sales or business development teams, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and conduct yourself in a professional manner

  • Track record of fostering agile learning and adaptability in teams

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

  • Commitment to working hours that support your team and align with customer needs

  • Motivated, competitive, and positive, with a passion for coaching and developing others

  • Demonstrated experience in operations or supporting BDR enablement

  • Must be amenable to a 1:00 AM–10:00 AM Manila time work schedule and a hybrid setup requiring onsite reporting two to three times per week.
