About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to join our team at a community association management company located in Babcock Ranch, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in culinary leadership, menu development, and kitchen management within a community or residential setting. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and service for our community residents and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all kitchen operations for community dining facilities and special events.
- Develop and implement diverse menus that cater to the tastes and dietary needs of community residents.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with community management and event coordinators to plan and execute culinary services for community functions.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and consistency.
- Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role, preferably within a community association or residential management environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in food service.
- Capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $68,000 per hour
