Responsibilities include:
- Define, design, model, implement and document analog, digital and/or RF integrated circuits (ICs);
- Define and then design, simulate, and implement analog integrated circuits in silicon;
- Work on state-of-the-art wafer processes and learn from and collaborate with industry experts.
- Understand the various aspects of product development;
- Perform typical "front-end" design activities such as designing and drawing the schematics, simulating for functionality and parametric performance, and assisting in the IC layout and then running post-layout extracted simulations;
- Gain exposure to other "back-end" activities such as bench characterization, final test, and failure analysis.
Minimum requirements:
- PHD in Electrical Engineering and thesis involving millimeter wave and RF integrated circuit design; OR
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 3 years electrical engineering experience in millimeter wave, design circuit, testing and simulation.
- Experience to include design multiple RF and analog circuits, measure circuits in lab and correlate simulation results to measurement results, define test requirements, test methods working with characterization engineers, product engineers and firmware engineers. Define firmware specifications to control circuits and define calibration and trim requirements.
