Job Description
We are seeking a Cattle Production Assistant to support daily cattle procedures, data management, and client service operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient cattle handling, maintaining accurate records, and delivering a high level of service to our clients.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist professional service team with chute side procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and data entry.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in cattle handling areas.
- Prepare chute rooms for daily workload as outlined by weekly work schedule.
- Low stress handling of recipient and donor animals through working facilities.
- Provide timely and excellent client service to haul in clients.
- Assist with recipient and donor activities as needed including weekend rotations.
- Organize and maintain inventories needed for procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical Requirements: Job requires ability to work in adverse/outdoor conditions, good physical mobility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be organized and have effective communication skills.
- Excellent cattle handling skills and patience is required.
