Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Product Manager – Implantology & Biomaterials to lead the strategic and operational management of our Implantology and Biomaterials portfolio in Romania. This role is responsible for driving product growth, executing marketing strategies, supporting sales excellence, and strengthening customer engagement while ensuring alignment with regional and global business objectives.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales, Clinical Education, Professional Relations, and Regional Marketing teams to maximize market opportunities and deliver exceptional customer value.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Portfolio Management
Develop and execute annual marketing plans for the Implantology and Biomaterials portfolio.
Manage product lifecycle activities including launches, positioning, pricing, forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Analyze sales performance and market data to drive strategic decisions and improve portfolio profitability.
Marketing Execution
Design and implement impactful marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
Develop customer-centric value propositions and product messaging.
Create marketing materials, promotional tools, and sales support content aligned with brand guidelines.
Ensure successful execution of product launches and commercial initiatives.
Sales Enablement & Business Support
Partner with the Sales team to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
Deliver product training and educational sessions for sales representatives and customers.
Support key customer meetings, congresses, workshops, and scientific events.
Provide product expertise and market insights to internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder & KOL Management
Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dental professionals, and industry partners.
Collaborate with Professional Relations and Clinical teams to support educational initiatives and scientific engagement.
Represent Straumann Group at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Forecasting & Budget Management
Manage product forecasts, inventory planning, and demand projections in collaboration with Supply Chain teams.
Monitor marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
Measure campaign effectiveness and ROI through relevant KPIs.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Dentistry, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Commercial roles.
Experience within medical devices, healthcare, dental, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in Romanian and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/marketing tools.
Willingness to travel within Romania and occasionally internationally.
Preferred
Experience in implant dentistry, biomaterials, or dental industry markets.
Knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and dental professionals' needs.
Experience working in a multinational environment.
