Senior IT System Engineer (based in Da Nang)

As a member of Smartdev LLC, the Senior System Engineer is considered a System support expert responsible for computer hardware, software, networking and peripherals. Senior System Engineer acts as the first point of escalation for the resolution of system related incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues.

• Resolve and close incidents/ service requests as per help desk procedures
• Conduct hardware, software implementation, maintenance and support
• Coordinate with site-procurement team for hardware and software new buy, repair and upgrade
• Maintenance Wired and Wireless network
• Monitor, manage and maintain systems, data backup system schedules
• Run regular checks on network and data security
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Design training programs and workshops for staff if needed
• Conduct regular system audits
• Run and share regular operation system reports
• Carry out other tasks assigned by high management

• At least 4 years' experience as a System Administrator (Windows and Linux) position
• Have experience in network administration, LAN/WAN networking, load balancing, firewall device
• Have experience with virtualization platforms (Xen, KVM, Vmware,..)
• Have experience in Office365 Global admin
• Have experience with web services like Nginx, apache, proxy,…
• Have experience with monitor systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, Cacti, Nagios
• Ability to write bash, PowerShell scripts
• Have experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github action
• Fair level of English (4 skills) is essential
• Ability to write technical support documentation

Nice to have:

• Have experience of AWS will be an advantage
