Key Responsibilities of the Direct Procurement Senior Specialist include:

Responsible for the procurement of electronic and mechanical components for our production processes.
Evaluation of supplier offers with regard to prices, quality, and delivery times, as well as optimizing the existing supplier network.
Preparation of inquiries, negotiation of contracts, and establishment of purchasing conditions.
Close coordination with internal departments such as production, development, and quality control to coordinate material requirements.
Actively identify cost reduction and efficiency optimization potentials in supply chain management.
Establish and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
Solution-oriented handling of supply shortages and deviations in the procurement process.

Position Requirements:

Must have:

7+ years of demonstrable professional experience in the operational and strategic procurement of electronic / electromechanical and mechanical components
Background in commerce and technical (electronic and/or mechanical) or a comparable business education
Negotiation skills and the ability to successfully conclude procurement contracts.
Experience in supply chain management and optimizing procurement processes
Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Team player, flexibility and resilience
Strong communication skills in English

Experience with group structures and the corresponding reporting
Excellent decision-making mindset
Experience in using ERP systems, primarily MS Navision
