A Day in the Life:
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bar service by preparing and serving beverages according to standard recipes and portion controls
- Create an engaging bar environment that promotes food and beverage exploration, education, and innovation
- Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with company policies and local health regulations
- Accurately manage the cash drawer, including processing transactions and reconciling discrepancies
- Conduct nightly alcohol inventory and monitor stock levels to support accurate ordering and cost control
- Maintain efficient service pace in a fast-paced environment to minimize customer wait times
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies for drink preparation and handling
- Collaborate with team members to support overall store and department operations

- Awareness of local alcohol laws and responsible service practices
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel or similar tools)
- Knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits (or willingness to expand expertise)
Abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and customer focus
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and during peak business hours
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and retain information
- Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lifting, reaching, etc.)
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations
- Ability to identify and respond to safety or service issues promptly
- Capability to maintain consistent work quality and performance standards
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must maintain a valid Bartender License
- Must maintain a current state Food Handler’s Permit
- Strong communication and customer service skills required
- Ability to interact with customers professionally, with a friendly and engaging demeanor
- Basic computer literacy preferred (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Willingness to expand knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits
- Ability to follow instructions and retain/comprehend information
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Strong organizational, accuracy, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow product knowledge
