Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support business operations through effective data management, reporting, and system administration. The role involves managing MIS reports, analyzing sales and market data, supporting digital platforms, and ensuring accurate customer data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage dealer data collection, validation, and reporting, ensuring timely acknowledgments, error resolution, and data completeness.
- Analyze primary and secondary sales performance, dealer sell-out data, product-wise trends, and SFDC POB contributions.
- Prepare and share periodic sales reports, audits, and business insights with regional and business leadership teams.
- Conduct audits of credit notes, customer master changes, and sales data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support pricing management, dealer account administration, and resolve finance/audit-related queries to maintain operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to analyze sales, dealer, and business performance data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards, and reporting) and CRM systems such as SFDC (Salesforce).
- Experience in sales operations, dealer management, data auditing, and business reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform data validation, audits, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of sales metrics, primary and secondary sales analysis, inventory tracking, and pricing management processes.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with dealers, sales teams, finance, audit, and customer support functions.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies, resolve queries, and implement corrective actions.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple reports, audits, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar) and business intelligence/reporting tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, Commercial Excellence, MIS, or Customer Support Analytics roles.
