Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced COBOL Unisys Developer with 5+ years of experience to support and enhance legacy systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining applications, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with business and technical teams to deliver stable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support applications using COBOL on Unisys environments
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing systems
• Work on enhancements, bug fixes, and system improvements
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure system stability and performance
• Support testing activities and production deployments
• Follow best practices and coding standards

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL development
• Strong experience with Unisys mainframe environments
• Good knowledge of legacy system architecture
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting production issues
• Familiarity with batch processing and job control
• Basic knowledge of databases and data handling
• Experience working with version control tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Unisys MCP environment
• Knowledge of DMSII database
• Understanding of financial or transactional systems
• Experience working in Agile environments
