Job Description
Manages the overall experience of Night Club, Pool, and Summer Concert Series by involving themselves behind the scenes and front of house operations. Manages the beverage operations for outdoor venue activations, including but not limited to summer concert series, festivals, and activations.
Ensures the service at Nightclub, Pool, and SCS is distinguishable from competitors in the area.
Involved in the everyday operations of the Nightclub, Pool, and SCS. Consistently checks on job performance of all employees within nightclub: bartenders, beverage servers, bussers, bar attendants, dancers, etc. Acts as key liaison with DJ, stage and lighting techs, and other key suppliers
Manages all 3rd party relationships – VIP and Street team promoters, nightclub security, dancers, DJ’S, entertainment consultant, emcee’s & radio promotions.
Oversee Front door and VIP operations.
Works with marketing, advertising, and public relations on all related items.
Ensures that the Nightclub, Pool, and SCS are on schedule and opens the doors on time, as well as ensures the timeliness of employee arrivals and departures.
Always maintain customer satisfaction. Introduces his or herself to paying guests; ensuring they are well taken care of with seating, drink service and the best of customer service standards as modeled by the Spotlight 5 behaviors.
Directs and approves scheduling systems for personnel.
Manages the handoff of the South Shore Room for guests and personnel when it changes over to the nightclub. Assists in the Nightclub information, guest appearances, nightclub hours, DJ names, entrance price, etc. as the South Shore Room Guests vacate Room. In addition, manage the presale of Nightclub tickets.
Manages outlet profitability: nightly/weekly financial performance, operating income and meeting or improving upon allotted budget and guidelines. Closely monitors and maintains inventory levels for maximum efficiency.
Actively promotes Nightclub in the local community to effectively increase coverage.
Establishing alliances with key stakeholders in the community, including restaurants, and local businesses.
Supervises human resources development, hiring, promoting, disciplinary actions, terminations, sensitive employee relations problems and department morale.
Responsible for the organization and efficient, timely set-up and tear-down of showroom and SCS arena, and Pool.
Administers policies and procedures, as well as property and company policies and procedures.
Establishes strong relationships with vendors to promote beverage specials that attract customers and increase beverage sales.
Resolves problems to achieve satisfaction for customers, employees, and management.
Responsible for recruiting, planning, and training of all outdoor venue activations.
Engaged with national beverage partners to ensure offerings are in accordance with prescribed approved beverage portfolios. Ensures that all ordering, storing, and distribution of product is executed in an orderly and organized manner.
Involved in the operations of the outdoor venue activations. Consistently checks on job performance of all employees within venue: bartenders, beverage servers, bussers, bar attendants, hawkers, etc. Acts as key liaison with other concert venue department leaders.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Basic Food & Beverage operations knowledge, with minimum 5 years’ experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Previous nightclub, bar, and restaurant experience required
Fluent and literate in English
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Computer literate
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent inter-personal skills: ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external customers
