Job Description

The Program Director – Horizontals will lead strategic growth initiatives across Process Automation by driving Competitive Displacement, Safety, Fire & Gas (F&G), and TSI (Total Solutions Integration) portfolios. The role is responsible for end-to-end program leadership, aligning cross-functional teams to accelerate customer acquisition, expand installed base penetration, and deliver differentiated solutions across global markets.

This role will sit in Houston, TX and work on a hybrid work schedule.

This is a global role with high visibility across Process Automation leadership, directly impacting growth acceleration and competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and drive global growth strategies across Competitive Displacement, Safety, F&G, and TSI portfolios.
• Lead cross-functional programs aligning sales, product, engineering, and strategy teams.
• Drive competitive displacement initiatives and installed base expansion.
• Build and manage executive-level customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
• Lead global program execution, governance, and performance tracking.
• Identify risks and ensure timely mitigation to achieve growth targets.
 

Key Outcomes
• Increased pipeline and revenue growth across horizontals.
• Improved win rates and competitive displacement success.
• Expansion of installed base and upsell opportunities.
• Stronger customer relationships and market penetration.
 

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 10+ years experience in Process or Industrial Automation.
• Proven experience in business development, program leadership, or strategy. 
• Ability to influence without authority in matrix organizations.
• Strong commercial and customer engagement skills.
• Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution focus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Strong understanding of DCS/PLC, Safety, F&G, and TSI solutions.
