An exciting Temporary Full-time opportunity as an Associate, Ontario Network of Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Treatment Centres (ONSADVTC) Education & Research exists in the Ontario Treatment Centres reporting to the Director, Ontario Network of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre.
Summary of Duties, but not limited to:
Meeting/Educational Event Organization
Assist in the organization of provincial education events as requested by the Provincial Coordinator/Pediatric Coordinator. Responsible for overseeing all requirements of the events including; material distribution, booking of speakers registration of participants, meeting rooms, accommodations for participants and speakers, travel arrangements and catering, reimbursements
Oversee the registration process using an online event system
Assist in the development of required materials for events including; event syllabus, brochures, etc.
Assist in the development of educational materials including PowerPoint presentations
Provide onsite management of the event
*Events include (but not limited to) provincial conference, on-line peer review sessions, online education
sessions, SANE training, Pediatric trainings/workshops
Education Material Responsibilities
Assist in the development of required materials for events including; event syllabus, brochures.
Revised and update website materials as requested
Distribute education materials as requested
Develop and incorporate social media tools into the website. Social media tools include, but not limited to Facebook and Twitter
Research/Knowledge Transfer Activities
Participate as a member of the research team in the development and implementation of research initiatives including the elder abuse project, evaluation of services.
Aid in the preparation of presentations and manuscripts associated with research related to education and training
Translate research findings into tools (i.e. infographics, brochures) for use by, for example, the public, health and social service providers, and decision makers
Disseminate research findings and associated tools to broad audiences (e.g., organize and manage webinars)
Administrative Responsibilities
Support the Provincial Coordinator/Centre Coordinators through the provision of information as requested
Assist in arranging meetings, conference calls, webinars etc.
Attend meetings, take minutes and distribute to participants, as required
Assist in the development of proposals/summary reports as requested by the Provincial Coordinator

Qualifications/Skills:
Undergraduate Degree in Public Health/Health Promotion or related field
Experience with Event Management
Experience with website content management
Proficient in Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Skilled in conducting literature searches
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Able to work independently
Proven attendance record
Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital
