Job Description
Responsibilities:
Learn and assist with plastic fabrication.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial process systems
Assist with chemical process piping and electrical system repairs
Perform metal and plastic fabrication and welding, including:
PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF
Stainless steel and carbon steel
Read and work from drawings, schematics, and job specs
Troubleshoot equipment and system issues.
Follow company standards, customer requirements, and safety procedures
Work alongside field Supervisor and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently
Travel to customer sites throughout New England
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site
Experience:
Experience working in industrial or process environments
Hands-on knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Chemical process piping
Industrial electrical systems
Metal welding and fabrication
Plastic welding and fabrication
Industrial water or wastewater treatment systems
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills for job reporting and communication
Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents
Valid driver’s license and required health/medical card
Willingness to travel throughout New England
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight jobs
Preferences:
Trade school, certifications, or formal training in welding, electrical, or plumbing
OSHA or other safety certifications
Experience working in industrial plants or manufacturing facilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools, materials, and equipment
Comfortable working in industrial environments, including standing, climbing, and confined spaces
Must pass standard drug screening and background check
