Job Description

We are seeking a Concrete Laborer to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. This role focuses on assisting concrete crews with site preparation, concrete placement, and finishing activities on heavy civil and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with concrete work including site preparation, form setup, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing support
  • Prepare and clean job sites before and after concrete pours, including grading, compacting, and material staging
  • Support crews with placing, spreading, leveling, and curing concrete
  • Load, unload, and transport materials such as tools, forms, and reinforcement materials
  • Operate hand and power tools to support forming, pouring, and finishing activities
  • Assist with setting and stripping forms, tying rebar, and installing embeds or anchor bolts
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, especially around active pour operations
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Work closely with foremen, finishers, and crew members to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
  • Adapt to changing site conditions, including weather and scheduling around concrete pours
  • Drive continuous improvement and support efficient, high-quality concrete operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in construction required; concrete or heavy civil experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of concrete processes (forming, pouring, finishing, curing) preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in concrete construction
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a crew
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel as needed
