GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for leading and supervising the daily job duties and assignments of staff general maintenance workers; performs maintenance and urgent, corrective, and routine repairs in building components and systems using skills to trouble shoot issues. Provides data to the Director of Facilities Management in matters of performance reviews/discipline, and conducts training of personnel in their general and specific duties and safety.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs assigned preventive maintenance.20%

  • Calibrates, repairs, maintains and operates RHVAC, pneumatic tube system, medical air & vacuum systems and all other associated equipment and systems 20% 

  • Responds to all emergency and normal calls as required 20% 

  • Analyzes and troubleshoots using proper data gathered from field experience, manuals, blueprints and schematics.20% 

  • Leads team on repairs, calls, regulatory paperwork completion and escalates issues. 20%

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • 4 years of experience in Hospital

SKILLS:

  • Equipment repair

  • Problem troubleshooting

  • Communication
