Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated professional from a registration (non-clinical) background who is eager to grow within BayCare and build a long-term career, with interest in developing toward a leadership or manager track.
This role is responsible for performing functions across multiple registrar modalities, including:
- Reception
- Registration
- Scheduling
- Financial counseling
- Bed control
- Cashier functions
- Insurance verification/authorization
The team member will demonstrate proficiency across all Registrar functions within the department.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Resolving registrar and customer service issues
- Processing payroll
- Maintaining department staffing schedules
- Assisting leadership with team guidance and direction
- Participating in coaching and counseling
- Supporting annual performance evaluations
- Rotating shifts and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required:
2 years of admitting or registration experience
OR
1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelorβs degree
