Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of database security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Coordinate with development and operations teams to optimize database performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of database management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards related to database administration.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MongoDB.
- Experience in database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data safety and availability.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine database tasks and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
- Understanding of data replication, sharding, and clustering concepts within distributed database environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in MongoDB.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
