Let’s energize the future together.  New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Field Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and control all daily operating activities as they relate to maintaining our distribution system. Major Responsibilities: Ensure the effective scheduling, execution, and completion of system maintenance and repair activities to maintain the integrity of the distribution system. Oversee leak survey activities to ensure they are conducted properly, by qualified personnel, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Review and maintain all leak survey documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Recommend pipe replacement projects and identify areas requiring cathodic protection. Ensure field personnel are equipped with the necessary tools, materials, and equipment, and that all assets are properly maintained. Provide day-to-day field supervision and oversee associated administrative functions. Coordinate and direct the deployment of personnel to meet operational needs across the service territory. Ensure prompt and effective response to emergency work requests involving potential risks to life and property. Oversee the security and maintenance of company facilities and property at the division service center. Manage O&M and capital expenditures within approved budgets. Monitor and control overtime in alignment with budget guidelines. Plan, organize, and adjust daily workflows to optimize productivity. Partner with team members to drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and work processes. Analyze operating costs and evaluate alternative approaches to service delivery. Coach and develop team members, reinforcing technical competency and safe work practices. Ensure timely completion of all required compliance-related activities. Position Requirements: A bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public utility operations or related field, or the combined equivalent of education and experience. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with personnel at all levels. Knowledge of Maximo work order system is a plus. Experience with union work rules and contracts is a plus. * The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary. This position is deemed safety-sensitive under the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s regulations.  Among other things, employees in this position are subject to drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing and post-accident testing.  PHMSA-required drug tests include testing for marijuana.  The use of marijuana, or testing positive for marijuana, is disqualifying and will lead to removal from performing safety-sensitive functions as well as disciplinary action. Location type is Onsite Other Details: Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $92,500- $125,000.Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
