Java Engineer with AI skills

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 11 700 - 18 000 PLN gross per month

What will you do?

You will work as a hands-on engineer building and integrating production-grade Java microservices in an enterprise environment, contributing to multiple workstreams and collaborating closely with Tech Leads, architects, QA, and platform teams while ensuring high standards of design, security, testing, and operational resilience.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational databases
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests across services
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and security checks
• Design and integrate APIs using REST and messaging patterns
• Collaborate on technical design decisions and deliver pragmatic solutions
• Work with cloud environments, primarily GCP
• Apply AI-supported development practices and tools in daily work

Your skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot (3-4 years of commercial experience) 
• Solid experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and quality practices
• Understanding of API design, REST, and integration patterns
• Experience contributing to technical design
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Basic understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and related engineering practices
• Exposure to AI-enabled SDLC practices

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and containers
• Experience with observability tools
• Experience with performance engineering and resilience testing
• Hands-on experience with GenAI solutions such as RAG or prompt management
