About the Role:

The Home2 Suites by Hilton - Whitestown, IN is looking for a Maintenance Technician III.  This role plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of facility equipment and systems. This position involves performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of pool upkeep, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The technician will collaborate closely with management to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment upkeep, including detailed documentation and adherence to regulatory compliance. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician III contributes significantly to sustaining a safe, reliable, and productive work environment through expert technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance roles.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hilton/Marriott 
• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
• Strong background in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members and supervisors to prioritize work orders and respond promptly to urgent repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce operational costs.
