Shelter Cluster Technical Advisor Palestine Jerusalem

Within the Shelter Cluster Coordination Team, the Shelter Cluster Advisor will support the cluster team in guiding shelter agencies in the development and implementation of shelter programming, to provide safe and resilient shelter solutions. They will ensure that solutions are in line with global standards and best practice. The position holder will coordinate the Technical Working Groups (TWGs), which are created on a needs-basis to address specific issues related to shelter programming, currently there is Emergency Damage Assessment TWG, Cash Market Monitoring TWG, Transitional Shelter Assistance TWG and a new joint technical working group with site management covering topics at site level.

They will also assist in identifying and building relationships with key humanitarian partners for the shelter response, such as national and provincial authorities or technical experts.
