Growth Service Engineer – Istanbul Turkey

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer – Growth to play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical service while actively supporting business growth across the region. This role goes beyond traditional service delivery, you will be a trusted technical partner to our customers and a key contributor to expanding our service footprint.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Technical confidence – the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, install, and maintain medical technology independently
  • Customer focus – a service-led approach to training, communication, and problem resolution
  • Commercial awareness – understanding how excellent service contributes to revenue growth and customer loyalty
  • Collaboration – comfort working in a matrixed environment and supporting cross-functional teams
  • Discipline & accuracy – strong attention to documentation, compliance, and reporting standards
  • Growth mindset – openness to learning, development, and sharing best practices

Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Technology, or related field
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a Field Service role (medical devices or healthcare technology preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485 / EU MDR
  • Experience supporting service sales or service contract promotion is an advantage
  • Exposure to Smith+Nephew capital equipment or comparable OEM devices is highly desirable
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and occasionally regionally.
