Senior HVAC Technician

The Senior HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial HVAC, refrigeration, and environmental control systems throughout a large candy manufacturing facility. This position plays a critical role in maintaining proper environmental conditions required for food safety, product quality, employee comfort, and production reliability.

This role requires a highly skilled technician with extensive industrial HVAC experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

HVAC

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• HVAC technical school certification or associate degree preferred
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required
• Minimum 8–10 years of industrial HVAC experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food, candy, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
• Experience with:
  1. Glycol systems
  2. Chilled water systems
  3. Building automation systems
  4. PLC-controlled HVAC systems
• Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens controls
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred

• Strong understanding of industrial HVAC and refrigeration principles.
