Job Description:
We are seeking an Assembler I to be responsible for assembling parts and components according to our manufacturing operating procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent attention to detail.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
Use hand and/or power tools (such as wire stripper, crimper, drills, soldering station) to assemble and/or package a complete product from scratch or sub-assemblies
Acknowledge and communicate product rejects/non-conforming items to production leads to resolve
Receive and maintain certified trained status for updated revisions in all relevant Production Lines and their individual stations
Document production activities accurately and promptly
Report any issues or defects to the production lead/ supervisor immediately
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs
Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional activities as needed
Work schedule may include shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands
Consistently maintains a clean and organized work environment
Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English as well as verbal instructions to complete assignments in a timely manner
Must have a strong work ethic, able to take directions, and willing to ask questions when clarity is needed
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods.
Ability to plan, track & complete assignments in a timely manner
Ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance
Desired:
1 year manufacturing/assembly experience
Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
This is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency, who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement. Hydrafacial compensation and benefits programs — including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off — do not apply to this role. Benefits eligibility, if any, is determined by the employer of record.
