Shift Information: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 7p-7:30a
Sign On Bonus: $7,500
Relocation Bonus: $1,500
• Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.
• Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.
• Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
• Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.
• Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets and/or reports promptly if applicable, re-scanning patients as requested.
• Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, including notifying physicians of abnormal findings.
• Utilizes computer systems to update exam status, manage orders, and ensure accurate charges.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely, adhering to infection control standards.
• Performs a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and rotates between multiple departments as needed.
• Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and contributes to process improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
