This Role:

Our team is currently seeking a Commercial Processor based in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a 1st Shift position. Our 1st shift hours are typically 6:00AM - 2:30PM  Monday through Friday with Saturday overtime scheduled as needed.


Summary

Fabricate and assemble subcomponents out of metal components.

  • Assemble and spray paint metal to fabricate parts and subcomponents

  • Measuring instruments
  • Insulation

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to use a tape measure, add, and subtract fractions.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills

None required.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Mig Welding Training Certificate or the ability to receive a certificate.

 

Other Skills and Abilities Regular attendance is an essential job requirement. Ability to work as a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
