What makes this role exciting
In this role, you will focus on supporting the identification, sourcing, onboarding, and strategically managing new in-country payroll partners, ensuring their successful integration into CloudPay’s operating model. You will be responsible for defining partner scope, establishing operating frameworks, and implementing governance standards, working closely with Procurement, the Partner Management function, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Your primary objective will be to build a scalable, high-performing partner framework that supports CloudPay’s ongoing growth and transformation.
Additionally, you will serve as a trusted partner to the Director of Global Partners, contributing to key strategic initiatives and transformation projects. This role requires strong project management capabilities and the ability to effectively coordinate and influence diverse stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
Partner Strategy & Onboarding
Support the identification and assessment of new in-country payroll partners aligned with business requirements.
Define and formalise partner scope of services within the CloudPay ecosystem
Drive the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring partners are effectively integrated into CloudPay’s operating model
Develop scalable onboarding frameworks, standards, and documentation
Vendor Governance & Commercial Alignment
Collaborate closely with Procurement on partner selection, contracting, and commercial terms.
Ensure clear definition of service scope and expectations during onboarding, including SLAs and service KPIs.
Strategic Projects & PM Support
Act as a key contributor to global transformation initiatives led by the Director of Global Partners
Lead or support cross-functional projects, including Service Definition and process optimization initiatives
Apply structured project management methodologies (planning, execution, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication)
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal teams including Payroll Operations, Procurement, Implementation, Sales, and Product to ensure alignment
Act as a subject matter contributor on partner capabilities, service scope, onboarding processes, and market coverage
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Skills and Experience needed for this role
Core Expertise
Strong experience in global payroll vendor management and outsourced service models
Deep understanding of multi-country payroll environments, compliance, service definition and delivery models
Experience in partner onboarding, vendor selection
Project and Program Management
Proven track record in leading or supporting strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complexity, timelines, and stakeholders across regions
Project and Program Management
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior-level engagement
Strong organizational and planning capabilities
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
Commercial awareness and ability to balance quality, cost, and scalability
Problem-solving and structured thinking approach.
