Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL!
The primary responsibility of the Employee Benefits Marketing Assistant is to support the renewal process across all market segments. This individual will work closely with Account Executives, Producers, Benefit Coordinators, and other Employee Benefits staff to service clients, and support the implementation and renewal of health and welfare programs.
How You Will Contribute:
Obtain, organize and record all data/documentation from numerous sources for the renewal marketing process.
Prepare, submit and track RFP’s during the renewal marketing process.
Develop, maintain, and utilize knowledge of ancillary benefits.
Develop, maintain, and utilize knowledge of Three Flow technology.
Develop, maintain, and utilize company sponsored and approved AI technologies.
Responsible for ensuring timely follow-up correspondence with carrier/vendors during the marketing process.
Market renewal business for all group size segments.
Obtain and evaluate market responses.
Prepare client proposal presentations utilizing Three Flow technology and Microsoft Excel.
Prepare client presentations including plan comparisons, cost benefit analysis of benefit options, and market summaries
Licenses and Certifications:
2-15 Florida Life & Health Insurance License (Within 90 days of employment)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
College Degree in a business-related field of study
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (formulas, data manipulation, pivot tables, etc.)
Additional language (preferred)
2-3 years Insurance carrier/ broker experience (preferred)
