How you’ll make an impact:

The NextGen Medical Affairs Manager sits at the interface of Medical Affairs and Professional Education, driving the development and engagement of high‑potential rising stars and emerging KOLs in TAVI. With deep hands‑on expertise in transcatheter procedures and a strong coach mindset, the role designs and leads tailored educational and development pathways that accelerate scientific, procedural, and professional growth.
 

Acting as a strategic connector across countries and functions, the NextGen Medical Affairs Manager builds sustainable expert pipelines, identifies future proctors, and shapes the future of interventional cardiology through structured engagement, feedback‑driven programs, and collaborative innovation.

  • A highly collaborative role, being at the interface of Medical Education, Medical Affairs and Countries to identify, create, map the development and collaboration opportunities with Edwards to progressively engage with and train the new HCP generations.
  • Track activities and collect corresponding feedback accordingly. Present progresses by Country in a concise manner.
  • Refine the NextGen strategy, in collaboration with Director, its segmentation and scoring.
  • Proactively identify future potential proctors.
  • Create a NextGen working group for ideation on the future of HealthCare in Interventional Cardiology, technology, research and training.
  • Lead dedicated events.
     

 What you'll need (Required):

  • A university degree and solid professional experience in Interventional Cardiology, including comprehensive knowledge of transcatheter procedures such as TAVI.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 60% of the time.
     

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Prior experience as a trainer or coach is highly desirable; alternatively, a strong motivation and commitment to develop these skills is essential.
  • Experience managing complex healthcare projects within a matrix organization; project management skills are an advantage.
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Solid scientific knowledge and critical understanding of cardiology literature.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, as well as with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
