LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our facility in Burnsville, MN- Ebenezer Ridges Care Center
Nurse weekend schedule includes:
- 32 hours per two weeks.
- Day/Evening shift
- Every other weekend Sat/Sunday and holiday rotation

Ebenezer Ridges Care Center highlights a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. We are located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN. - Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices
- Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed
- Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff
- Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status
- Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals
- May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans
Required:
- MN LPN licensure
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS)
- Able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Previous healthcare experience
- Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
