Account Executive – Public Sector

What you’ll achieve

As an Account Executive focused on the public sector, you will be responsible for building strong institutional relationships and delivering an outstanding experience for both existing and prospective clients.

You will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of public sector customers’ priorities, challenges, and regulatory environments leading large and complex opportunities, including public tenders and framework agreements
  • Identify and position technology solutions aligned with digital transformation, modernization, and public service improvement initiatives
  • Increase share of spend across the full portfolio of technology solutions (Client Solutions Group, infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, and services) within public sector accounts
  • Manage territories and/or accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, opportunity tracking (including public tenders), and engagement of cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with technical, legal, and pre-sales teams to deliver compliant and competitive proposals within public procurement frameworks
  • Regularly engage with key decision-makers in public sector organizations (IT leadership, procurement officers, senior management, etc.)

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience selling technology solutions, ideally within the public sector
  • Strong understanding of public sector ecosystems, including procurement processes and regulatory considerations
  • Proven experience managing public tenders and competitive bidding processes
  • Excellent customer management and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to engage, influence, and present to senior stakeholders (CIOs, senior executives, and key decision-makers)

 

Compensation: Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is EUR 110.000 - EUR 151.000
