Job Purpose:
This role sits within our centralised Analytics department. Our mission is to provide insight relative to Marketing, Customer Insights, Safer Gambling and establish a strong culture of data-driven decision making in our organisation's strategy.
This role supports the Digital business and will give you the opportunity to lead an Analytics team that provides innovative customer analytics and actionable analyses to support recommendations on commercial decisions, on areas such as acquisition, CRM and loyalty programs, cross-sell strategies, churn and customer behaviour.
Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Leading a team to deliver proactive insights and identify areas of opportunities through:
Regular monitoring of business performance and identification of key areas for deeper dive analysis, and insight on underlying trends and drivers
Using customer & transactional information to identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer lifetime duration, ensuring that all opportunities are tested fully and optimised before automating
Analysing campaigns, promotions and marketing activities to measure success and provide insight on how to optimise
Present findings to senior stakeholders discuss strategies to drive performance across the business
Providing ad hoc analysis for commercial departments and other areas of the business
Deliver key “customer stories” to senior stakeholders from deep dives into customer behaviours and drive recommendations
Manage key stakeholders, building strong and collaborative approaches
Recruit, coach and mentor team career performance with a focus on creating a high performing team
What’s needed for success – Experience & Qualifications:
Experience working in an analytical role, with knowledge of gambling and gaming preferable
BSc/BA in quantitative field (Statistics, Digital Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Science) or equivalent.
Knowledge of SQL and/or one of the following: Python, R, SAS
Knowledge of Data visualisation software, PowerBI preferrable
Experience in leading teams to deliver actionable insights
Proven ability to analyse large data sets and translate them into insights and actionable business recommendations
Excellent communicator, able to clearly identify and articulate key insights and recommendations to drive decision-making with Stakeholders at various levels
Previous experience in people management having working in the capacity of a people leader with direct reports required
Management experience focusing on hiring, developing, motivating and managing workloads
Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, mentorship and continuous learning
