About The Role
As our People Operations Associate you will be critical to the foundational creation of our future People Operations Service Center. You will be part of a central HR operational team providing critical services across the employee lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to develop skills in HR operations while contributing to a fast-growing, international business.
Core responsibilities:
help establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers (Vialto employees), providing accurate and efficient customer service and resolving HR transactions and administration within agreed service levels.
help facilitate day-to-day HR administration within the EMEA & Europe West People Operations team. Initial scope will be for operational employee life cycle processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, payroll input, benefits, leave of absences such as sickness management etc.), transitioning into an area of specialism over time as our team model develops
be the first point of contact for employees providing operational excellence in your region and give support and advice throughout the entire employee lifecycle using our HR ticketing system; adhering to SLAs and keeping key stakeholders updated on the status of tasks
coach managers and employees to use the applicable systems and tools where available
data entry and data maintenance in Workday or other business systems; championing data integrity and taking ownership for managing Workday transactions
adhere to the document management processes, ensuring that all required documentation is scanned/filed accordingly to employee personnel records. also, to internal procedures and controls
ensuring adherence to data protection requirements whilst managing sensitive employee data.
work across our matrix organization, supporting the wider HR team as needed
be comfortable working through a period of change and transition as our business transforms and our People Operations function builds the foundations to support our employees and leaders
Qualifications and skills:
Strong written and verbal English language is a must
You don’t need to have specific experience in HR, but have strong admin skills and experience in a fast-paced process environment managing multiple systems and tasks
You have a hands-on mentality and the drive to create things from the ground up, able to spot opportunities for efficiency and improvement applicable across a number of countries
You are an organizational talent and know how to manage the operational day-to-day business in a face-paced, ever-changing environment
Must have very high attention to detail and a strong process-driven mindset, also bring an analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude to work
Experience using Workday or other HR systems for data entry and reporting would be an advantage. But at least be comfortable and willing to learn new systems. Strong IT skills, data entry skills, Google Suite and/or Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel
You have empathic understanding for the needs of employees and external partners, good communication and consulting skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams, countries, and departments
Able to work to deadlines and able to appropriately handle confidential information and store data appropriately
