
Project Manager (Cyprus)
Job Description
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing the execution of design-built construction projects, ensure compliance with project requirements, host country codes, standards, and permit regulations. You will manage all phases of project delivery, coordinate with stakeholders, and support successful project completion through effective planning, execution, and on-site management.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract and the location of assignment is in Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage design-build projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and resolve cost, schedule, and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, permits, and safety requirements.
- Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Prepare project reports and provide on-site leadership as required.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Science/Technology, Construction Management, or any related field of study.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, including all aspects of design-build contract execution.
- Knowledge of host country construction codes, standards, regulations, and industry practices.
- Experience with project development, permitting, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong skill in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Willingness and ability to work on-site as project needs require.
- Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and records of project experience.
