Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support a wide variety of technical and operational tasks within the Production Department in a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills, support advanced manufacturing processes, and grow your career in Smart Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
- Assist internal and external users with equipment training, tool usage, and safe operation
- Train staff on safety procedures and cleanroom protocols
- Develop, write, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Train users on microfabrication and characterization equipment
- Perform equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
- Provide safety oversight and operational support
- Support microfabrication activities for funded projects
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with solid modeling, AutoCAD, and engineering materials/properties
- 3+ years of experience in an SMT manufacturing environment preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment preferred
- Working knowledge of ECR/ECN engineering processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
