Job Description
The HR Systems Analyst I will serve as a key functional and technical resource for the Dayforce HCM platform and other HR systems. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to analyze requirements, support configuration and optimization of Dayforce modules, support integrations and reporting, and drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle. This position will work within standardized procedures and practices with instruction, guidance, and direction from more senior-level roles, complete routine activities within assigned Dayforce modules and processes, and contribute to system strategy, governance, and scalability.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Serve as a key Dayforce functional resource for assigned modules, which may include Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, or Learning
Complete basic Dayforce configurations, including workflows, business rules, forms, eligibility rules, earnings/deductions, pay policies, and security roles under guidance
Configure and maintain routine Dayforce system components such as HR events, data mapping, role-based access, and system tables
Partner with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate system setup supporting compliance, audits, and payroll processing
Support Dayforce releases, upgrades, and feature enablement, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment
Coordinate and execute unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Dayforce changes
Develop, validate, and maintain basic Dayforce reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Dayforce reporting tools
Support and monitor integrations using Dayforce tools (e.g., Integration Studio, APIs, inbound/outbound interfaces, and vendor feeds)
Troubleshoot routine Dayforce issues across modules; perform root cause analysis and partner with Dayforce support as needed
Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to HRIS governance standards and change control processes
Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, process maps, and end-user training materials
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Functional knowledge of Dayforce HCM and end-to-end HR and Payroll processes is a plus
Demonstrated ability to configure Dayforce modules and workflows is a plus
Experience supporting payroll processing and time-related configurations is highly preferred
Data analysis skills with experience validating, reconciling, and auditing HR and payroll data
Knowledge of Dayforce reporting, data models, and SQL concepts
Experience supporting integrations, vendor feeds, and file troubleshooting is preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders is highly preferred
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and system stability
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous HRIS or Business Systems Analyst experience is preferred.
Hands-on HR system experience preferred, including configuration and production support, and/or data analysis
Experience supporting multiple HR systems strongly preferred
Advanced reporting and/or SQL experience preferred
Experience supporting HRIS governance, change management, or system optimization initiatives preferred

Occasional extended hours during payroll cycles, releases, or system implementations
