Transit Bus Technician

The Transit Bus Technician  performs difficult technical work in the inspection, maintenance and repair of heavy diesel-powered transit buses, diesel-electric hybrid powered buses, minibuses/paratransit buses (cutaway buses), City vehicles and equipment. The work is performed under the general supervision of and report to the Transit Maintenance Supervisor. Work Schedule:  The Transit Bus Technician position operates within a shift-based schedule determined by operational needs and employee seniority.
