186 Hours for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year (approx. 4 Hours per week plus events)

Non-Exempt PT School Staff (-1100 yr) 3N
Position Profile:
This position at Good Shepherd School exists to support the weekly and seasonal technical needs of Good Shepherd school events, tech electives, and programs. This position oversees sound, lighting, and multimedia operations for regular chapel gatherings, elective classes, and special productions such as the Christmas Program, Ram Gala, and Graduation ceremonies. The Coordinator ensures that students and staff are equipped with reliable, well-prepared technical environments that enhance communication, worship, and celebration.
This role provides an opportunity to serve the school community through technical excellence, teamwork, and ministry-minded support.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical setup, sound, and media support during the school year for:
- Teach Tuesday Elective (2:00–2:35 PM)
- Teach Wednesday Elective (1:15–1:57 PM) 7th & 8th grade
- Chapel every other Wednesday (2:00–2:35 PM)
- Attend Worship/Production Meeting (day/time TBD)
- Set up audio, video, and lighting equipment used for school functions
- Train and certify students on the use of equipment
- Ensure smooth transitions between events by testing all media and audio inputs in advance
- Other duties as assigned
Training & Support:
- Receives training, support and collaboration from the Worship/Production Department
- Collaborates closely with the School Administration for event planning and scheduling
- Provide ongoing support and development in live production, technical systems, and event management
Seasonal Events & Productions:
- Christmas Program
- Coordinate all rehearsals and event-day production (lighting, sound, projection)
- Support program rehearsals
- Oversee technical execution of the Christmas Program (approx. 6:00–8:30 PM)
- Attend planning meetings and communicate setup needs in advance
- Ram Gala
- Manage A/V setup and technical rehearsals
- Provide live production support during the event
- Participate in planning meetings with staff and volunteers
- Graduation
- Assist in planning meetings and technical preparation
- Lead setup and run sound/media for graduation rehearsal and ceremony
- Participate in planning meetings with staff and volunteers
- Preschool & Elementary Events
- Support Preschool Christmas Program and Graduation as needed
- Provide A/V and tech assistance for Kindergarten End-of-Year Celebration
- Miscellaneous
- Support 3rd Grade Presentations/Market Day and 5th Grade World Tour
- Participate in planning meetings with staff and volunteers

- Adhere to the Statement of Faith as established and approved by Good Shepherd Community Church elders
Additional Notes:
- Regularly attend Good Shepherd Community Church or other church in our community that shares the same beliefs as Good Shepherd Community Church
- Complete Ministry Certification, which will include a criminal background check, as part of hiring process
