Senior Specialist, Purchasing/Procurement

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify the suitable supplier for certain projects based on business requirement and mass production performance within current supplier base or any other potential supplier if current suppliers can't fulfill the requirement.
• Understand engineering drawing, specification, BOM. Familiar with raw material market trend, manufacture process to generate and develop cost breakdown templates to reflect cost driven.
• Be able to develop commodity strategy to build stable and competitive supply base(total cost, quality, lead time, delivery, technical etc).
• Daily purchasing activities, place purchase order, follow up purchase order, solve shortage material in short term and long term. 
• Manage supplier performance to ensure the quality, delivery and cost are met.
• supplier audit to ensure selected vendor meets business requirement.
• Participate and take on additional assignments and projects as required.

Education and Experience Requirements ​

• Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanics is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years sourcing working experiences, major in machine parts sourcing is preferred.

Preferred Skills and Abilities ​

• Strong ability of drawing & specification reading; cost analysis; negotiation; project management.
• Have multi-commodity sourcing capability, especially for machining.
• Small volume and high mix products experience.  
• Teamwork spirit, responsible, quick learner and under pressure skills.

Travel Required: Domestic 10%
