Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? As a Tarper, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of gypsum wallboard products. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with loading, properly securing and tarping loads, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. With a starting wage of $20.14/hr and room for growth, this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

- Loading Assistance – Assist with loading gypsum wallboard onto transport vehicles.
- Tarping and Securing – Properly tarp and secure loads to prevent damage and ensure safety compliance.
- General Labor Tasks – Perform lifting, stacking, and movement of materials as required.
- Equipment Operation – Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to aid in loading.
- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance – Inspect tarping materials and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Safety and Cleanliness – Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support to Facility Operations – Assist with production and maintenance tasks as needed.
Working Conditions
- Work in a manufacturing environment exposed to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Minimum:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Ability – Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Teamwork & Attention to Detail – Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Experience – Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Skills – Familiarity with securing loads and operating material handling equipment.
