The impact you’ll make
Responsible for the overall coordination, execution, monitoring, and reporting the progress of projects but not limited to new facility development, new equipment installation, and qualification for production. This role will be positioned in the upcoming Greenfield project in Bangalore – India. Candidate requires exposure in greenfield/brownfield facility development projects, installation and commissioning of equipment, production activities and coordinating with stakeholders present globally. This position will report to the Director - Projects.
What you’ll do
Program Execution & Coordination
- Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and executing greenfield project in Bangalore - India.
- Monitor the overall project progress w.r.t the master schedule, define priorities, focus on the risk and challenges to mitigate them and close it.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, supply chain, facilities, operations, quality, consultants, supplier and vendors to deliver the project objectives.
- Partner closely with functional leaders to gather requirements, sequence activities, and ensure deliverables are aligned with business priorities.
- Facilitate decision‑making across cost, schedule, and performance trade‑offs, escalating issues and recommendations as appropriate.
Integrated Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed integrated program schedules for different steams of activities.
- Coordinate timelines for equipment readiness, documentation, training, and process transfer to ensure smooth transitions across program phases.
Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management
- Establish and actively manage program risk registers, identifying schedule, resource, technical, and execution risks.
- Drive mitigation plans, track actions to closure, and escalate risks that threaten program milestones, quality, or readiness.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Develop and deliver clear, concise, and actionable communications for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Provide regular program status updates, progress reporting, and data‑driven insights to support management decision‑making.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across global stakeholders, supporting consistent understanding of priorities, risks, and expectations.
Who we’re looking for
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience with greenfield/brownfield initiatives, facility development, tooling and equipment installation and commissioning, cross-functional collaboration, and monitoring and reporting project progress.
- Experience with planning and scheduling software like MS Project / Primavera / Planview
- Skills in Microsoft office suite of products (Power BI, Excel, Power Point, etc…)
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
