What Impact You'll Have
We are seeking an Enterprise Communications Specialist to plan, manage, and implement a variety of employee-facing and internal communications products and platforms to connect, inform, and inspire every employee at GRVTY. Reporting to the senior manager, strategic marketing, this role is dedicated exclusively to internal and enterprise communications — it does not encompass external marketing, public relations, or media relations functions. It is ideal for a specialist who wants to make a big impact on a growing (1,000+ person) company by building a best-in-class internal communications function. What You'll be Owning
- At GRVTY, our enterprise communications practice consists of three connected parts: employee communications, leadership communications and change communications. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for all three.
- Editorial Calendar: maintain enterprise internal editorial calendar and communication schedules for internal campaigns, announcements, and events
- Employee Communications
Employee Messaging: Plan, write, and manage enterprise internal communications- Own and manage our company intranet, including content strategy, publishing cadence, governance, and ongoing platform improvements.
- Storytelling: Lead internal storytelling efforts that highlight employees, mission impact, business initiatives, customer success, and company culture
- Create and manage multimedia internal content including articles, presentations, graphics, videos, and event communications
- Leadership Communications
- Leadership Messaging: Partner with ELT members, business units, and subject matter experts to develop clear, consistent messaging for strategic initiatives; draft and edit executive talking points, presentations, leadership announcements, and organizational updates
- Change Communications
- Integration communications: Manage communications surrounding organizational changes, integrations, acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and change management efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with People and Culture, Talent Acquisition, the Integration Management Office, Finance, and business leaders to support change communications and broader communications needs

- Operations and Measurement

- Help establish and maintain internal communications standards, processes, and best practices across the organization
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, branding, and voice across all employee communications
- Monitor and report on internal communications performance metrics, employee engagement analytics, and content effectiveness
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated internal or enterprise communications role — not a generalist marketing or external communications role
- Experience developing communications strategies in fast-paced national security, defense, or government contracting environments where organizational priorities, customer needs, and mission requirements evolve rapidly.
- Familiarity with the culture, workforce, and communication challenges of defense, intelligence, and technology organizations, including supporting geographically dispersed teams, cleared personnel, and highly specialized technical communities.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and project management
- Experience supporting executive communications and change management initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency with intranet platforms, internal newsletter tools, and employee communications technology; prior ownership of an intranet or internal communications platform preferred
What Would be Nice to Have
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills
- Experience translating technical or operational information into accessible communications
- Demonstrated experience using AI platforms and tools (such as generative AI writing, content, or productivity assistants) to enhance communications quality, efficiency, and impact
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating internal communications writing, executive messaging, or campaign work is required as part of the application
