Job Description : 

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Creates, retrieves, and maintains radiology imaging files, greets patients, enters orders in RIS and provides general, clerical support for the department. Performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains imaging files in an organized manner and ensures availability of files as requested. (50%)
• Retrieves films, copies films and/or digitization of analog films by request of physicians, patients, and other third parties. (30%)
• Greets patients, enters orders and related information into RIS, manages customer service issues and resolves related problems. (10%)
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation of all required information. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred

• 2 years experience in medical setting
