Job Description
The Head of Programme Implementation oversees Save the Children’s programmes in North Darfur, ensuring effective programme delivery, resource management, and operational efficiency across field sites. The role manages staff, finance, HR, and operational systems while strengthening internal controls and risk mitigation measures. Working closely with thematic leads and Programme Managers, the post holder ensures programmes respond to humanitarian needs, supports programme and proposal design, and strengthens staff capacity in Tawila and across North Darfur. The role also represents Save the Children with authorities, communities, INGOs, NGOs, and partners, manages consortium partnerships, and supports coordination through the ABC mechanism and co-leading the North Darfur INGO Forum.
