As an Estimator, you will support the preparation of accurate cost estimates and quotations, working closely with multi-functional teams in a dynamic project environment. The role requires proven technical understanding, analytical skills, and attention to detail to support timely, high‑quality business decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations based on project inputs, technical drawings, and specifications.
Review project documentation and actively contribute to initial project or quotation review meetings to clarify scope, assumptions, and requirements.
Analyze technical drawings and manufacturing or execution processes to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate closely with internal collaborators (engineering, production, sales, project leaders) as well as external partners to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and cost assumptions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quotation data, reports, and supporting documentation within internal tools and systems.
Manage assigned quotations and workload to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and accuracy requirements are consistently met.
Support updates to estimates as projects progress and assist with the internal handover of information once projects move forward.
Prepare clear, structured data and reports to support decision-making by project leaders and management.
Support the continuous improvement of estimating tools, internal procedures, reporting methods, and data quality standards.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD; experience with additional CAD tools (CATIA, Inventor, ProE, Solid Edge) is considered an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, comprehend assembly or project delivery steps, and develop reliable cost estimates.
Experience or familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and structured spreadsheet‑based tools used for costing and quotation preparation.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and proven knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple quotations in parallel and meet defined deadlines.
High attention to detail and a strong dedication to accuracy, quality, and consistency of outputs.
Ability to communicate optimally and collaborate across production, sales, engineering, and back‑office teams.
Well‑organized, proactive, and motivated to continuously learn and further develop technical and estimating capabilities.
