We are seeking an experienced insurance professional and people leader to join our Strata team at Marsh. This role is available in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home.
In this leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of 4 Senior/Account Executives who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our Strata clients. You will also account manage several key clients, with a focus on strategic relationship management.
We will count on you to:
- Build and maintain constant connectivity with key Strata clients.
- Manage workflow approvals, development plans and technical oversight.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the team.
- Roll out claims and strata training to Strata Managers and respond to their technical insurance questions.
- Continue to grow the book of business.
- Maintain strong technical insurance knowledge across Public Liability, Fidelity Guarantee (Crime Coverage), Building Damage, and Office Bearers (Directors & Officers) Liability.
What you need to have:
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent).
- Prior broking or underwriting experience within Strata or Property insurance.
- Strong knowledge of General & Financial Lines products.
- A genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers.
- The ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
