As an Actuarial Analyst – Associate, you will engage in analyzing and managing financial risks for clients through statistical modeling and data analysis. Your work will generate valuable insights and recommendations to help businesses make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will be part of our Assurance practice, where you will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients. You will provide advice and solutions to help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls. This position offers an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, while using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embracing ambiguity and using these challenges as opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial risks using statistical modeling and data analysis techniques
- Developing and implementing risk models to provide insights and recommendations for clients
- Collaborating with team members to deliver quality work and drive value for clients
- Applying actuarial science principles to assess and manage financial risks effectively
- Utilizing statistical analysis software to interpret complex data and discern patterns
- Engaging in strategic forecasting to anticipate market trends and client needs
- Presenting financial reports to communicate findings and support decision-making processes
- Gathering information from diverse sources to enhance commercial awareness and business understanding

What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics with at least 70% of University degree completed
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
