Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Join our compassionate team as a Pediatric Part-Time LPN providing invaluable care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes needing alternative schedule options. As a vital member of our homecare agency, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of pediatric patients outside regular scheduled hours. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families by providing high-quality nursing care tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Visits and Education in a Patient's Home.
  • Re-evaluation of patients’ skilled nursing/PSS needs
  • Work autonomously with minimal assistance by the Clinical Manager
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Make decisions based on established policies and procedures
  • Preparation of the clinical progress notes.
  • Informing the family and Registered Nurse of changes in the patients’ condition or needs.
  • Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician in accordance with currently accepted standards of medical practice
  • Total patient care
  • Patient and family teaching.
  • Other services in accordance with and as outlined in the Georgia Licensed Professional Nurse Practice Act.
  • Reports directly to the Registered Nurse and Clinical Director.


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)) must hold a current unencumbered Nursing license to practice in the state of Georgia.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Current TB Screening
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Experience caring for medically fragile individuals.
  • Experience in Home Health (preferred).
  • Experience in Pediatrics (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Georgia Pediatric Program, GAPP, (preferred).
